Do you remember when I posted this picture?
Here is the same lake over the weekend.
This pathway, strewn with leaves.
Now crunches beneath the feet
This pretty archway of branches
Now hangs heavy with snow
Or makes you hesitate to go any further
The fence made with stacked logs
Becomes hidden and disguised
We quickly forget what has gone before us until we are reminded. It makes life easier when we can let go of the old and make way for the new. Nature really shows how things are always transforming themselves to something else right before our eyes.

ReplyDeleteI love how the same space is so different and yet so beautiful. It's easy to take the beauty that surrounds us for granted! Thanks for sharing these pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhich park is that? The pics are gorgeous, I don't think there are many other places quite as beautiful as the Lower Mainland after a snow. There's just something magical about the heavy wet snow we get. (Makes great snowmen too.)
ReplyDeleteAngela, this is Mundy Park in Coquitlam.
